All programs at Cancer Support Community Montana are offered free of charge, but they are not free of cost. Our fundraising events are an important way to raise funds to support cancer patients and their families and the Cancer Support Community. Please plan to join us for our 2021 Annual Fundraisers.
The annual gala, Rays of Hope, is Cancer Support Community Montana’s largest fundraiser and supports year-round education and exercise programs, support groups, and individual counseling for youth and adults impacted by cancer, all free-of-charge.
CRUISIN’ ON MAIN
In collaboration with Downtown Bozeman Association, we participate in the Cruisin’ on Main car show with your favorite automobiles. Plan to attend August 15, 2021 in Downtown Bozeman.
GIVE BIG GALLATIN VALLEY
Each year, Cancer Support Community participates in One Valley Community Foundation’s Give Big Gallatin Valley initiative, which is a 24-hour online and live celebration of giving created to connect generous community members with the causes they care about most.
Each October, Cancer Support Community (CSC) partners with Montana State University Athletics, the Downtown Bozeman Association, Bozeman Health and the Advanced Medical Imaging at Bozeman Health to promote Breast Cancer Awareness and mammograms in October.
The PNKBZN team works with businesses along Main Street to “Pink out Bozeman” and decorate store fronts with pink décor. Cancer Support Community also fundraises throughout October through store promotions and/or Rounding Up for October.
This event is a way for local businesses and individuals to help improve the quality of life for people in our community – When customers make purchases in October, they are asked if they would like to round up and donate to Cancer Support Community. Some businesses also launch in-store promotions to benefit Cancer Support Community, such as “5% of all burger proceeds in October benefit Cancer Support Community”, “$0.50 from each beer sale”, etc.
Heebs Fresh Market has led the way since 2019 with Rounding Up for CSC, and has raised over $6,000 just from their customers’ pocket change!
Tough Hook donates 2% of all proceeds from their pink Tough Hook hanger – all year round!
Plonk is donating a portion of proceeds from their Rose and Flirtini drinks to Cancer Support Community during the month of October!
Stuffed is donating a portion of proceeds from their signature pink Brittany crepe during October!
