Look Good, Feel Better, American Cancer Society
Look Good, Feel Better is a free, non-medical, brand-neutral, national public service program to help individuals with cancer look good, improve their self-esteem and manage their treatment and recovery with greater confidence. Come learn about skin care, makeup and hair care.
We offer a variety of programs to help educate and encourage those going through cancer treatment to engage in healthy behaviors. Program examples include: “Ask the Oncologist”, “Ask the Personal Trainer”, or “Learning about Sleep”.
Spiritual Health & Spirituality
Spiritual Health can be an important component of health and can be a source of
hope or struggle throughout the cancer journey.
This program offers those in cancer treatment to try on and experiment with wearing a wig, while selecting one that fits for you from our collection. As with all our programs, wigs are provided free of charge. Licensed cosmetologists and volunteers will help you choose the right wig, and provide education on how to care for your new wig. Wig trimming is also available if needed.
