Cancer Support Community serves Montana Cancer Survivors at any stage of diagnosis and survivorship, their families, and loved ones through programming all offered free of charge. Our programming model is comprised of 5 pillars:
At Cancer Support Community, we know cancer. We know how complex, difficult and isolating cancer can be. By joining our community, you will find people who understand what you are going through and you will be inspired by the strength of others and enhance your ability to make decisions that are best for you. All programs are evidence-based and led by professionals in the field. Programming is offered in person, virtually and hybrid. Check the program calendar for the most up to date programming offerings.

YOUTH & FAMILY PROGRAMS
The first place cancer metastasis is to the family. Youth are affected by having cancer themselves, as well as when a close friend or family member has a cancer diagnosis. Our Youth and Family programs are intended to provide a place of support and sense of community for the whole family.
Cancer Support Community offers emotional support through support groups, informal connection groups, and individual short-term counseling – all offered free of charge. Support groups provide an opportunity for people with shared experiences to connect, share resources, and develop healthy coping strategies.
Knowledge is power! Through research at the Cancer Support Community Headquarters Research and Training Institute, needs assessments, and current best practices, CSC creates an education plan to serve cancer survivors and their loved ones.
Exercise and nutrition is important physical and mental health. CSC offers healthy lifestyle classes to meet the unique needs of cancer survivors. All exercise classes are taught by professionals that offer accommodations and alterations to meet the individual needs of each cancer survivor in the class.
Your health after treatment may be different than it was before you started treatment, and you may find yourself having to manage problems you never had previously. Some of the more immediate health issues people begin to encounter after cancer treatment ends. Some of these health issues may be short-term. Others may be health concerns you need to manage for the remainder of your life.
All of our monthly programs are offered free-of-charge, thanks to these generous community partners.
