Becky Franks has been the CEO since 2006, following her mother’s diagnosis of breast cancer. Becky earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health from North Dakota State University, is studying for Masters in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, and moved to Bozeman in 2003. She has worked in the non-profit sector for over 25 years, with an emphasis in Public Health and Health Education, and has a passion to enhance the quality of life for people diagnosed with cancer.
Becky is a certified Personal Trainer and is able to use this information to help people gain strength during the cancer experience. She currently serves as past-chair of the Montana Cancer Coalition, and Chair of the Board of Health for Gallatin County Public Health.
Becky lives in Bozeman with her husband, Dennis and dog, Tess. Her son Tyler serves in the US Army, and Michael studies at MSU. Her three step-daughters, Alexia, Jordan & Madeline are grown, and living in Montana and Oregon. She enjoys being a grandma to Donald, Henderson, Freddy, Cade, Brooks & Harper, skiing, biking and running.
