CSCMT conducts several fundraising events throughout the year, offering a variety of ways to get involved. Whether you’d like to lend a hand on event day or join a committee to help with the planning process, your help is an invaluable way to support Montanan’s impacted by cancer.
From greeting participants and supporting programs to helping around the office, the consistent presence of ongoing volunteers makes a lasting difference. Whether you volunteer weekly or monthly, your time helps us create a welcoming space for everyone impacted by cancer, and you’ll find that the rewards of volunteering reach back to you, too.
Group volunteer opportunities at CSCMT are a wonderful way to make a meaningful impact together. From helping prepare our space for seasonal changes to assembling comfort totes and spreading awareness in the community, there’s always a way for your group to lend a hand. Whether you’re part of a business, club, or organization, your teamwork helps keep our community welcoming and supportive for all who walk through our doors.
We produce several mailings for our various programs and events, including a bi-monthly calendar mailing. Help get these important pieces out in a timely and efficient manner. This is an as-needed position.
As a volunteer at CSCMT, we want your time with us to be as rewarding for you as it is for the people you’re helping. During your volunteer interview, we’ll chat about what kinds of tasks interest you most. Although some tasks may seem small or behind the scenes, everything our volunteers do helps support those in our community impacted by cancer.
CSCMT offers semester and year-long internships for college juniors and seniors in health-related fields. Social work internships with supervision may also be available. Please contact us for more information about current internship opportunities.
Cancer Support Community provides all programs and services free of charge and only for people in Montana. Your donation allows your local friends, neighbors, coworkers and family to find support, education and hope all through the cancer experience.
